No book I have ever read does justice to this topic like Ryan's story: Will Vaus Reviews "Called"

No book I have ever read, or sermon I have ever heard, does justice to this topic like the simple sharing of Ryan’s story—not so much because his tale is extraordinary—but simply because it is told truly.
— Will Vaus

I was driving when Will Vaus wrote to let me know he had reviewed my book, Called: My Journey to C. S. Lewis's House and Back Again. Wanting to read his review right away, I pulled over to the side of the road.

Will is the author of a number of C. S. Lewis related books. He and I met a couple years ago in London, at the unveiling of C. S. Lewis's plaque in Poet's Corner of Westminster Abbey.

By the time I was finished reading Will's review, I was wiping tears from my eyes, blown away by the response, and feeling, all of a sudden, that all of the time and energy and the difficult valleys of this journey were worth it.

"Have you ever wondered what it might be like to study in Oxford, England? Or maybe you have dreamed of being a writer. Or wondered what Christians mean when they talk about God 'calling' them to do something. If you feel any of these statements might apply to you, then I think you will enjoy reading Ryan Pemberton's book, Called: My Journey to C. S. Lewis's House and Back Again."

Read the rest of Will's review here. And thank you, Will, for the kind, generous words.

Just one more day until the official release, friends!
